This used to be a really good application, but since Mavericks (all versions) this program crashes upon launch. And there have been no updates.

Yellow Pages has been unable to run since the installation of Mavericks. I have tested this on an updated Mac mini and the latest generation Mackbook Retna with Mavericks natively installed. Previously this program was very functional. No developer update in a very long time, maybe this program is developmentally dead now. (feb 2014)

It only crashes. Mavericks cleen install.

Agree with other user that it used to be fine, now useless. Please fix. It was very useful.

I have two Macs, a 2011 Mac Mini and brand new 2013 iMac and on both of them this App crashes as fast as I open it. I loved this app but now I can’t use it anymore. I wish they would fix it. Then I might give it a better rating.

I just installed the app and it immediately crashed.

THE APP QUITS AND CLOSES UNEXCPECTADLY everytime I try doing something needs a bug fix

Suddenly, with no explanation or warning, this app works again. No update, no version change, just works as terrific and helpful as it used to be. Perhaps they fixed something on the back end. Took them long enough. I like the integration with the Contacts app. My review when Mavericks came out follows: Was a *terrific* and *helpful* app under Mountain Lion. But under Mavericks, crashes within seconds of launch every time. Reported this to Avantar, and no response from them. Even sent them the crash report about setting an incorrect type of preference file and no response from them. Mavericks has been out several weeks now and no update from the vendor. Disappointing. Seeing all the other reviews about crashing immediately upon launch, they should pull it from the store until they fix it.

I use this app almost daily to find local businesses. I also have the iOS version on my phone. They are both easy to use and accurate!

This is my go to app when I need to find a business. It is very simple and easy to use.

I like using the iPhone app when I am on the go, but when I am at my desk, this is my go to app for finding businesses!

App is usefull but a lot of smaller businesses are left out. Search engine could be better, I have better luck finding phone numbers with google maps.

This app is pretty solid. I like being able to have it on my laptop and phone.

used to have business hours on old app, new app does not show hours of business, have to go to websites to find hours, please make it convenient again?

Very good app. I use it all the time because I travel a lot.

This worthless app can’t find anything. What a waste of hard drive space. Even the basic searches like “Taxi”, return the ever popular “Oops! (null)” error. FAR better to just google whatever you want. If I could give this worthless app a negative 5 stars I would.

Finding people is not very helpful I know an individual in this town and for sure. I searched and this program shows no listing at all. May be great for bussines locations but for people not good..

The app finds the businesses but does not provide information on the them. It is continual search mode.
